Cedars Cottage Resort is a family oriented, family owned, housekeeping cottage resort located on the shores of beautiful Lake Eugenia, at the south entrance to the picturesque Beaver Valley. Open year round. We offer the accommodations and services you'd expect from a tranquil, lakeside cottage resort. We have 9 units, 3 modern chalets and 6 traditional cottages to choose from.
Cedars modern lakeside chalets are designed for comfort and relaxation no matter what season of the year. The 3 bedroom chalets will sleep up to 8 guests. Each chalet features a separate fully equipped kitchen with fridge, range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. The living/dining room area overlooking the lake is fully furnished with comfort in mind - complete with colour cable TV, ceiling fan, and a fireplace for atmosphere. The chalet also includes air-conditioning, and a four piece bath with a whirlpool tub. All units have electric baseboard heating.
Cedars traditional style two bedroom cottages offer many of the features and all of the comfort of our chalets. Cottages typically sleep four to six guests and are perfect for couples or families. You will find complete kitchen facilities, including a microwave. All cottages have colour cable TV, fireplaces for atmosphere, electric baseboard heating, plus a three piece bath with shower.
Each unit at Cedars has its own deck, lawn chairs, picnic tables and fire pit, propane BBQ's are supplied during the summer season (May long weekend to Thanksgiving.) For the remainder of the year, firewood is provided free of charge. There are peddle-boats for the kids and canoes for those who enjoy a quiet few hours on the water at no charge to guests! Children love to play on our shallow, sandy beach. Our heated outdoor pool is a great way to relax; it is open from mid-June to Labour Day. Lake Eugenia is well known for fishing, especially if you enjoy bass, perch or trout. Rental motor boats are available. If you don't fish, you may just want to take a little cruise around the lake.
Stop by the Games Room for a game of pool, table tennis, shuffleboard or cards, there are complimentary board games available at the office. There is a children's park with swings, slides and fireman's pole.
Cedars has several golf courses within a short distance and the back roads are great for cycling.
For the alpine skiers we are close to some of Ontario's most popular ski slopes, Talisman, Beaver Valley, are only 10 minutes away, to Blue Mountain is 25 minutes. For those who enjoy cross country skiing we are a 15 minute drive from Kolapore Uplands Wilderness Area.
The scenery is incredible, there are 7 waterfalls in Grey County, look out over Beaver Valley from the top of Old Baldy Mountain, explore the Feversham Gorge. Visit the Scenic Caves near Collingwood. |

Cottage Rates:
Summer Rate - $735.00 per week
Spring, Winter & Fall - $115.00 per night up to 4 occupancy, minimum 2 night stay on weekends.
Large cottage that accommodates 6 people maximum:
Summer $910.00 per week.
Spring, Winter & Fall - $140.00 per night, minimum 2 night stay on weekends.
Holidays and long weekends, call for rates.
Deposit Requirements:
A 50% deposit is required for a 2 night stay and a deposit of 35% is required for longer stays.
Cancellation Policy:
For cancellations more than 30 days before your arrival date your deposit is refundable less $50.00. For cancellations 30 days or less before your arrival date your deposit is non refundable.
Rental Details:
We have baby equipment available at no extra charge, please let us know what you need when you make your reservation.
There is no need to bring bottled water. Our water is treated on site and tested monthly by an Ontario Ministry of Health accredited laboratory.
We are only 1 1/2 hours from Toronto Pearson Airport.
Pets: Sorry we do not accept pets.
